13 Reads | Women’s History Month

For me, books play a pivotal role in celebrating and learning about the experiences, achievements, and struggles of women — especially non-white women. One of the reasons I’m most interested in entering the publishing world is to amplify the voices of marginalized women and increase the reach of those voices within different and diverse groups of readers. The recommendations below are a combination of history reads, modern day commentary, and books that helped me understand my own womanhood better. As a bonus, I’m including some selections for children, as well!
