13 Reads | St. Patrick’s Day

Listen. Do we all wish we were sipping a cup of a tea and staring out at the waves breaking against the Cliffs of Moher? Sure. Do we all long to be sitting on wooden bench worn with time in a cozy Dublin pub nursing the perfect pint? Absolutely. Do all of my ideal scenarios involve sitting and drinking? Most definitely. Unfortunately for most, myself included, those aren’t options for me this year. Will I get over it? No. No I won’t.

Instead, I will be making soda bread and stew, visiting a local Irish pub, and tucking into one or more of these reads that are set in Ireland or penned by Irish authors. I will the lay the books open and attempt a swan dive into the pages. And when that doesn’t work, there’s always sitting and drinking.
